Since it debuted in the '80s, Wilson's Pro Staff tennis rackets have been sweeping up titles and winning the hearts of players worldwide. The Pro Staff 97 Classic connects vintage style with four decades of innovation. Designed with Paradigm Bending technology to optimize the bending profile between the shaft and hoop, it offers precision and pinpoint control. We arranged the double braid at 45-degree angles, allowing the frame to breathe more upon impact. This increases dwell time while maintaining the stability responsible for that signature Pro Staff feel.

Paradigm Bending
A carbon fiber construction strategically crafted to optimize the bending profile of the racket hoop and shaft. This construction shifts more flexibility into the shaft for an ideal blend of classic Pro Staff feel and precision without compromising modern power.

String Mapping
Strings sit closer together, yielding a denser string bed for excellent precision and feel.

Braid 45
Frame construction arranges the double braided fibers at 45 degree angles, allowing the braid to breathe more upon impact. The result is an enhanced pocketing feel combined with incredible stability.

We offer a Collect in Store option at our checkout page. Once your payment is processed and your order is ready to collect, we will send you a 'Ready for Collection' email.

• Please do not attempt to collect your order unless you have received your ‘Ready for collection’ email.
• Collection can be made Monday - Saturday between 10am-5.30pm. Please note our store is closed on a Sunday.

Returns & Exchanges

While we hope that you will love every purchase, if you are not completely satisfied with your goods, we will happily offer you a full refund or free exchange.

You are entitled to a refund or an exchange if you contact Greaves Sports within 14 days of receipt to acknowledge the return. You then need to return your item(s) within a further 14 days in a perfect, resalable condition with all labels and tags attached. You can return your items in the post or at our store.
