The New Nike PSG 2023/24 Home Kit
On the back of their 11th Ligue 1 title success, the new PSG kit has been officially revealed from Nike. Paying homage to a rich era of PSG’s history in the early 2000s, the new PSG kit retains core kit design elements with a unique and modern twist.
The Hechter Stripe
An essential design point of all home PSG kits, the famous Hechter stripe has been integral to kit designs for the Parisian giants since the late 70s. Conceived by renowned fashion designer Daniel Hechter, who became president of the club, the Hechter stripe is the red, white, and blue stripe vertically down the kit.
Embracing the Parisian Skyline on the New PSG Kit
In a striking evolution of the Hechter stripe, the 2023/24 PSG kit retains the design base, however the famous stripes all fade from top to bottom. This minor design tweak is inspired by the Parisian skyline and how it fades into the night sky.
Throwback to the Early 00s
The early 2000s were a unique era for Paris Saint Germain, where fantastic talented footballers entertained the masses. The likes of Nicolas Anelka, Jay-Jay Okocha, and the mercurial Ronaldinho all wore the Parisian blue (along with new Chelsea Manager Mauricio Pochettino) and the new kit is a throwback with the left breast alignment of the Hechter stripe.
The symbolic red & white stripes are featured alongside the tricolour flag as standard. PSG are the most successful club in France, and that worldwide passion is clear to see in this new kit.
