The New PUMA BVB 2023/24 Home Kit
Designed for the fans, by the fans, the new Dortmund kit for season 2023/24 has arrived from PUMA. A unique design, grounded by the bond between the players and the fans, this Dortmund kit will see the Bundesliga runners up take on the Champions League next year. After such a devastating final day league loss to 11-in-a-row champions Bayern, Dortmund will be hoping this is the kit to take them one step further and reclaim the German league title.
A BVB Kit to Crown The Bundesliga 23/24 Champions?
Despite holding a 2 point lead over reigning champions Bayern Munich, Dortmund couldn't find the win needed at home to Mainz to secure their 9th German championship and first since season 11/12. Bayern instead scored an 89th minute winner away to Koln, extending their championship run to 11 titles in a row.
Saturday the 27th of May saw BVB wear their new home kit at home to Mainz, 14:30 GMT kick off, at the same time Bayern played away at Koln.
A Dortmund Kit For The Fans, By The Fans
The 2023/24 BVB home kit is the result of a fan design contest organised by PUMA and Borussia Dortmund. More than 15,000 kit design submissions were entered from all over the world, with the final 9 being chosen from a panel led by team captain Marco Reus and club legend Dede. Those final 9 Dortmund kit designs were then put to a public vote.
