Emblazoned on the collar of the new Bayern Munich shirt are the words “Rot & Weiß ein Leben lang” - translated to “Red & White For Life”. This is a nod to one of the club’s original bylaws that stated all Bayern home kits must feature red and white. The visual consistency that exists and links the city of Munich to the club and it’s fans runs deep.

Both the standard version and match versions of the new Bayern Munich shirt are made from 100% recycled polyester. adidas are committed to helping end plastic waste, and aim to produce all sportswear and football kits with recycled polyester by the end of 2024.
