The company was founded in 2003 and has quickly grown to become one of the biggest sports brands in China. It was one of the main sponsors for the Olympic Games in Rio in 2016, equipping more than 100.000 volunteers and officials in head-to-toe 361° gear. In China 361° is a major supplier of sports gear for all kinds of sports like running, basketball, football, swimming, outdoor and much more.
Following the initial success in China the brand decided to internationalise its business. Learning from some other Chinese brands’ initial failures, the family owned company decided to make sure their first product introduction was going to be better than expected. The goal was to deliver products that compete with the best in the market. 361° hired a team of international experts from the sporting goods industry to work together with its team in Xiamen with a mission to support athletes all over the world to perform beyond their expectations.
