BINDING - MAXFLEX TECHNOLOGY
AXIAL2 WORLDCUP MAXFLEX BINDING
Rossignol World Cup athletes have been developing and perfecting a new binding over the last 3 years. Used by the top World Cup athletes last season it is now available for all FIS and USSA racers.
The binding's forward pressure has been increased 30% from the FKS, enhancing the interface between boot and binding. The increase of pressure influences ski behavior, improving rebound and responsiveness. The forward pressure is kept constant by the Maxi Flex band connecting the toe and heel, making the power consistent. The heel has 25mm of elastic travel; the longest travel of any binding on the market, meaning less pre-releases.

I-BOX WORLD CUP PLATE
The I-Box was developed by our World Cup racers to harness the power of the new ski constructions. The I-Box plate combines a rigid I-beam center piece, allowing minimal torsion in the power zone under the foot. Two external lifters allow the ski to flex at the extremities, torsionally adapting to the terrain.

RECTANGULAR SANDWICH CONSTRUCTION
Sandwich construction with vertical sidewalls.
Different types of sidewalls and laminate materials can be used to change or alter the behavior of the ski. This gives the Rossignol technicians the ability to change or adapt the skis behavior on an on-going process, thus making the worlds fastest skis.
Race-proven construction of wood core, fiberglass, and metal laminate lay-ups with vertical sidewalls provide optimum racing flex patterns.
