Armourfit Comp Sock

Developed originally for the medical world, our Compression Socks help our athletes in two ways:

1. Improved Performance during activity
Improved circulation brings more oxygen-carrying blood to the muscles, allowing them to work more efficiently when competing. This increases speed, stamina and strength.
A number of elite marathon runners already use compression socks to gain that extra edge. They have now been developed for other sports including Football, Hockey, Cricket and Rugby.

2. Improved Recovery after activity.
The increased blood flow helps the body to flush out lactic acid from the muscles and allows them to recover more quickly. The result is less stiffness and soreness after activity and Recovery time is shorter between sessions.

How does the Compression sock work?

Graduated compression in the sock aids blood circulation

The compression is greatest at the ankle and gradually decreases towards the knee

This assists the return flow of blood to the heart

The socks have been designed to be worn alone or beneath team playing socks.
